Step-by-Step Guide to Remote Onboarding for CALIFIA® System Setup.
Before your first remote onboarding meeting, please complete Steps 1 and 2 outlined below. If you have any questions about these initial steps, feel free to reach out to Robin Mauger at robin@biomedsimulation.com.
Once you're comfortable with Steps 1 and 2, notify Robin and let her know when you're ready to begin. Since this is a new onboarding process, we would like to schedule a Teams meeting to observe and support you during the setup. Your feedback will be valuable for refining this procedure.
If you're ready, proceed with Steps 3 through 6:
- Prepare Required Software: Make sure Microsoft Teams and TeamViewer are installed on your laptop. These applications are essential for connecting with a Biomed Simulation specialist who can provide remote support during your setup.
- Set Up Your Workspace: Prepare a large, clean workspace with at least three accessible power outlets. Once your workspace is ready, follow the instructions in Video 1: Unboxing to begin.
- System Setup: With your CALIFIA® system unboxed, continue to Video 2: Setup for detailed instructions on assembling the three system components.
- Pre-Priming System Performance Checklist: After assembly, refer to Pre-Priming System Performance Checklist to verify that all initial criteria are met. Once confirmed, you're ready to proceed to priming.
- Priming the CPM: Follow Video 3: Priming to complete the priming procedure.
- Post-Priming System Performance Checklist: When priming is complete, refer to Post-Priming System Performance Checklist to ensure all steps are verified. Once checked, your CALIFIA® system is fully set up and ready for use.
- Notify Robin Mauger: After completing all setup steps, notify Robin at robin@biomedsimulation.com.
